Alexandria Harbour |

Alexandria is located at the western end
of the river NILE delta between the
Mediterranean and "Karoon" Lake. It is
considered the second most important
city in EGYPT and is also considered its
main port. Moreover, three quarters of
the country’s foreign trade pass through
it, furthermore in Alex. There are two
ports. One is located eastwards and the
other westwards. The former is entitled
the eastern port and the latter the
western port and there is a "T-Shaped"
peninsula separating them.

Unlike the eastern port, the western port is
used for actual navigation and thus it is
entitled Alexandria port. |
